Feel. Live. Evolve.

Welcome to Christine’s
Corner Yoga

The practice of yoga is my anchor, work and passion. I believe in the long-term benefits and life-altering transformations achieved through a regular yoga practice because I have experienced it for myself. My husband tells people that I became 20% happier while in my yoga teacher training program. My prior chronic low back pain rarely flares up anymore.  I am physically stronger, more flexible and have better posture.  Mentally and emotionally I am steadier and more grounded able to face life with an open heart, sense of optimism and trust.

I help people improve and maintain good health through movement, meditation and self-awareness. I want people to feel better and more comfortable in their bodies, so that they may find their own natural movement, and become more in tune to what their bodies truly need. I teach to the whole person, the physical body and the subtle or energetic body through movement and breathing exercises.

Sunrise Yoga Series

Begin your day with a 45-minute live Zoom Hatha yoga class. Hatha yoga is about linking breath with movement to center, align and balance yourself physically, emotionally and mentally. Start your day with a sense of calm and ease, feeling centered, balanced and energized.

Chair Yoga for Everyone

This is a traditional Hatha yoga class, but we do not sit or kneel on the floor. In this class you will build both upper and lower body strength, using the chair as a prop for strengthening, balancing and stretching. Through standing and sitting postures, we nurture the body from the ground up, strengthening and stretching muscles, lubricating the joints, and hydrating the fascia.

Join us each Tuesday at 10:15 am EST for a fun, sometimes challenging, always varied yoga class with a chair!

Feel better. Live more fully. Evolve.

Why do yoga?

Yoga is different from other forms of exercises because of its emphasis on breath and movement. The physical practice of yoga serves to build muscle strength, increase flexibility and joint mobility, improve balance and agility. Yoga postures and breathing exercises move energy, clearing and removing blockages in the subtle or energetic body. A well-rounded yoga practice will lead you towards feeling more grounded, yet lighter in spirit, centered and revived.
